I believe that Netball is an inclusive game for all people of all sizes, and that's what makes it so special. Netball finds a place for everyone regardless of their height, size, speed or agility.
Nitro's mission is to instill confidence and to encourage. Through Netball, enable people to acknowledge their strengths and their differences and be the best version of themselves that they can be.
I want everyone who comes to Nitro Netball to leave feeling energised, valued and with a desire to play Netball again, and again...
Nitro deliver fun, engaging and progressive Netball coaching sessions focusing on individual ball skills, team work, communication and basic netball skills.
Nitro also provide non-competitive sociable games where you can try your hand at any position, make friends and get fitter.

About me;
I have always worked with people throughout my career, from children with special needs to working for the police service, selling medical devices to plastic surgeons and bar/waitressing.
Having played netball for many years whilst living in Sydney, I took this passion back to England with me in 2011. I began volunteering at my local netball club and this quickly became a paid position. As my passion grew I decided to take my coaching qualifications. With excitement and plenty of nerves I completed my UKCC Level 1 in 2015 and UKCC Level 2 in 2017. Had I have stayed in England I would have applied for a place on a coveted UKCC Level 3 course (the highest level attainable) but my family and I moved back to Australia in March 2018.
Nitro was established on 1st June 2018.
I have an infectious enthusiasm for Netball and could talk happily about it all day long. I truly believe Netball is a sport for everybody.
It is such a gift to be able to provide Netball to people who would not access it otherwise. Not everybody has time for, or wants to play in a team or for a club where there is grading, an expectation of attending training and where there is winning and losing. Seeing these people enjoy Netball with no strings attached makes me really happy.
I derive a lot of enjoyment from watching friendships at Nitro sessions form and develop and from watching players improve over the weeks.
I love finding out about people, I love hearing your stories and knowing what makes you tick. Because ultimately coaching of ANY kind is about forming relationships and communicating.
I love most sports but especially rugby union. I am still playing competitive netball and am part of the High Performance Umpire Squad at Western Districts Netball Association.
I'm a Mum to two teenage children and two dogs.
I hold a First Aid Certificate, police check and Blue Card.
So that's me!
